We’re Hiring

We are a small team with an important mission - and a simple conviction: family comes first. We pour ourselves into strengthening marriages and families, and that starts with our own.

The San Antonio Marriage Initiative (SAMI) exists because we believe marriage is the central bond of every family. We believe every marriage deserves to feel secure, connected, and full of hope. We’re here to encourage and strengthen couples and the leaders who serve them - so the love they build today becomes a lasting heritage for the generations that follow. We do this by celebrating the beauty and value of marriage, connecting couples with trusted resources, and equipping people to invest meaningfully in the marriages around them.

Our vision is the restoration of family - built by investing deeply in marriage, so that communities are strengthened and God is glorified.

What began in San Antonio has grown into a movement with both local roots and national reach. We partner with churches, pastors, and marriage leaders across the country — and we are excited to lead National Marriage Week, a national movement that seeks to be the voice for marriage in the USA, bringing couples, marriage leaders, and organizations together to celebrate marriage intentionally and boldly.

In all things, we serve with excellence, generosity, and a heart that is others-centered.

If you love the local church, believe deeply in the gift of marriage, and find genuine joy in creating spaces where people feel welcomed and cared for — we'd love to meet you.

About This Role

This is a part-time role with the potential to grow. This individual will attend weekly team meetings in person and be present at key events we host or are connected to in the San Antonio area.

We are looking for someone who is organized, relational, and mission-driven to join our team as our Events & Engagement Coordinator. The heart of this role is coordinating and executing events that connect, equip, and encourage -  from intimate pastor roundtables to large-scale marriage gatherings. You will also step into established systems for online events, ensuring every moving part lands with care and excellence.

You will work closely with our team to make sure every event, whether local or national, reflects the warmth, intentionality, and excellence that represents SAMI well.

  • Flexible and gracious when plans shift

  • A team player who brings both competence and humility

  • Absolute integrity in how you handle information and represent the organization

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail — you keep things from falling through the cracks
